If possible, I would like to see a ring tone for messages that are sent/received to my phone rather then a “beep” noise that I most often can’t hear.
i cant hear the beep that lets u know u have a text message i would like to have my own ringtone as my message alert. Also i would like to b able to change te ringtone on my phone. Also i dont like seeing my text messages pop up at te bottom of my phone is there a way to stop that but still be able to tell u have a message with out turning off the notifacation cause i dont want no one reading my text but i would like to kno if i have a message.
can we have a option to record our own video and could we have a option to have a memo recorder on our phone and could we acess our sprint account from or phone?
Yes, would be nice to add the ability to change our notifications to our own ringtones!! Nice phone but lacks some better options. Also, voice activated dailing would be nice…
Most states are leaning towards enacting laws prohibiting the use of your cellphone while driving. The exception is hands free. Hello! The Pre needs voice dialing or Google android is going to gobble you up and make you look like fools.
Returned Palm pre Phone very upset to learn that this phone do not have a Bluetooth voice command activiation or hands free as mention on above comments#5. Good looking phone but need more amends.
I bought my wife a Palm Pre for Christmas. She is planning to return tomorrow because she is frustrated by the lack of voice dialing. I’ve heard that this would be coming to the Pre. Tomorrow would be a good day for it to be available.
When the Palm Pre was released, witin 3 weeks I had bought one for both myself and my son. At the location I purchased my phone, I specifically asked if voice dialing was an application on the phone I was told “yes”. After getting them home and set up, we discovered voice dialing was NOT an application. I called Palm and was assured an application was forthcoming in the near future. It’s been months now. By the time the application is available, I will be shopping for a new phone. Won’t be a Palm product next time.
I agree about the provision of voice dialing. Looking up a number or dialing a number is very dangerous while driving. The pre is a smart phone, so, give me the opportunity to tell it to call someone for me.
is voice (activated) dialing available for the pre plus and if not, when? got to have it, given the time i spend driving from office to office.won’t buy, btw until it is available. please advise. thanks.
I am still trying to get usto using my phone. Having trouble trying to get any ringtone on my phone
how do you get them . Would easy if we could get get an app
Heard you are working on Web OS 3.0 for the Palm Pre and it will have voice activation. Can you tell the ETA of this and any other update regarding this subject?
Amen to all of you who want, no.. Expect voice dial with the Palm Pre. Come on, give us an app!
I need this ablity. It is beyond belief that you have not addressed this issue. Is anyone there looking at these posts? You will get my phone back if this is not working by 6/1/2010.
